The Physical Education Association (PEA) serves as an outlet for students to act as role models to younger students through participation in various programs. It also enables PE students to apply their knowledge to promote healthy active lifestyles in the community.

The purpose of this organization is to create opportunities for physical education majors through:

  • Hands-on experience and field work
  • Socializing with other PE majors and professionals
  • Learning more about the field of PE

The PEA is open to all University of Michigan students interested in promoting healthy, active lifestyles and participating in community service and events. This year the organization held social and fundraising events, including a 3-on-3 charity basketball tournament for C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.
