About
Kerry Winkelseth (MS '91) is a clinical assistant professor of Applied Exercise Science and Athletic Training, and is director of Kinesiology Community Programs (KCP) at U-M School of Kinesiology. She received her Master of Science in Kinesiology from U-M. Throughout her career, Winkelseth has created and directed numerous sports education programs for children, including KidSport Summer Camps, U-Go Girls, and U-Meet the Athlete. She was also co-director of Kinesiology Aquatics Camp (KAC), a program educating youth and adults on safety measures in water. As an educator, Winkelseth loves encouraging her students to develop a lifelong commitment to health, well-being, and physical activity. She is a recipient of the School of Kinesiology Teaching Excellence Award and is a certified American Red Cross Instructor.
