What to consider now that a college sports team has unionized

The landscape of college sports has changed significantly in the last few years, fueled by the NCAA's allowance that student-athletes could be compensated for the use of their name, image, and likeness, though not directly by the university. Other questions about collegiate athletes' status have arisen since then, including whether student-athletes should be considered employees.
