Q: Out of everything you're working on right now, what are you most excited about and why?
A: I'm excited to see our project fully up and running. Our lab has been working on an integrated environment for collecting biomechanics data in multiple forms. I look forward to seeing it being used to collect real-world data!
Q: What's the most meaningful or satisfying aspect of your work?
A: The most satisfying part of my role is the opportunities to conceptualize and create solutions that help people achieve their goals. As a software engineer by training, it's always rewarding to write code that solves a practical problem or makes someone's life easier.
Q: What's your favorite thing about our school and why?
A: The thing that's stood out to me so far is the community events! They're great opportunities to connect with other staff members from various departments and backgrounds. There also tends to be great food :)
Q: If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would it be and why?
A: I would love to spend a few weeks vacationing across Europe some day. My bucket list countries would likely be Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Romania — though I would love to see more.
Q: What's one thing you'd like to brag about (personally or professionally)?
A: I can cook a mean chicken parm.
