Q: What's the most meaningful or satisfying aspect of your work?
A: The scientific writing course format allows for meaningful engagement with the students and building partnerships for their undergraduate careers and beyond. I thoroughly enjoy these processes and getting to know the SoK students!
Q: What's your favorite thing about our school and why?
A: The School of Kinesiology has been such a welcoming and warm environment. The support and resources are unmatched!
Q: How do you balance your time between the demands of your work and personal life?
A: I find balance through engagement in outdoor activities such as trail running, hiking, golf, paddle boarding, and biking. My wife and I also enjoy traveling around the state and across the U.S. during school breaks.
Q: Which states or countries have you lived in?
A: I have lived in Michigan and California throughout my lifetime. California was an incredible experience, but Michigan is home for me!
Q: What's one fun or surprising thing about you?
A: I was previously a women's and men's golf coach at Ferris State University for nine years.
