This course is designed to introduce students to the knowledge, skills and values important to plan, implement, and evaluate the efficacy of therapeutic modalities in the treatment of injuries and illnesses of athletes and others involved in physical activity. Upon completion, students will be able to correctly select a treatment modality according to treatment goals and objectives as they relate to wound healing, tissue repair, and pain.
