Description
This course is designed for students interested in the allied health professions as it introduces basic principles related to common diseases and disorders affecting of the major organ systems of the body. Emphasis is placed upon tissue pathology, general medical conditions, and related pharmacology. Upon completion students will be able to identify conditions common to the major organ systems of the body and the appropriate pharmacological interventions associated.
