Description
This course discusses the social determinants of health and their impact on physical activity behaviors. Substantive areas covered include but are not limited to socioeconomic position, income, education, neighborhood environments and stressful conditions, placing an emphasis on the role these factors play in shaping physical activity and sedentary behavior.
Prerequisites
Graduate status; (MOVESCI 219 or SM 217) and (MOVESCI 340 or PHYSED/AES 242).
