Description
This course is designed to explore different techniques that can inform ex-ante projections of the positive and negative economic effects of venues and the amenities that could or should be included in their construction. To accomplish this goal, course materials include a number of readings, and a considerable amount of time will be spent performing ex-ante assessments. Where possible, ex-ante projections will be compared to ex-post outcomes. This is done to enhance the understanding and skills to be used in modeling future monetization.
This elective is specific to the SM Policy & Analytics Path (Path 2). All students must take at least three credits that are specific to their undeclared track.
