Description
This course offers students the opportunity to undertake applied research on topics relating to sports venues. Under the guidance of the instructor(s), students work as a group to investigate a sports venue issue from problem specification to data analysis to modeling solutions. Topics will vary from year to year. Currently, the seminar explores the formation of sport and entertainment districts.
This elective is specific to the SM Policy & Analytics Path (Path 2). All students must take at least three credits that are specific to their undeclared track.
Prerequisites
Enforced Prerequisites: SM 440 or SM 442, or permission of the instructor. Advisory Prerequisites: SM 238, SM 239, SM 330, SM 249, SM 440, SM 442
