About
Dr. Angela Fong is an assistant professor of Applied Exercise Science at the University of Michigan School of Kinesiology. Her research is grounded in exercise psychology theories and methodologies in dissemination and implementation science. She previously taught at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Fong earned a PhD in exercise sciences from the University of Toronto and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Queen’s University.
Dr. Fong is currently seeking a motivated PhD student to work on research related to exercise behavior promotion, dissemination and implementation science, and health disparities among women diagnosed with cancer from historically marginalized backgrounds starting Fall 2024. Learn more.
