Description
The course covers selected topics in exercise psychology, including theories and models of exercise behavior, determinants and strategies related to exercise motivation, and the psychosocial influences and consequences of exercise. Students develop an understanding of the the theoretical foundations of exercise psychology, current research applications, and implications for practitioners. Opportunities for application of knowledge are provided through class discussions, assignments, and exams.
