About
The Motor Control Laboratory is focused on understanding how changes in the control of arm and hand movements impact activities of daily living in older adults and individuals with physical disabilities. Current research interests include the effectiveness of home-based tele-rehabilitation programs for use in clinical populations, the development of hand sensorimotor assessment tools, and student-based home training to improve dexterity and psycho-social health in frail older adults. Our long-term goal is to improve delivery of effective, movement-based therapies which will ultimately lead to improved quality of life.
