Project Title: Barriers to Physical Activity Participation among Low-Income Older Adults
This study aimed to investigate differences in barriers to physical activity (PA) and PA variables between the high level of PA (HPA) group and the low level of PA (LPA) group among low-income older adults living in subsidized senior housing. It is hypothesized: that 1) there will be significant hindrances in PA for the LPA group when compared to the HPA group, and 2) the HPA group will engaged in a significantly higher amount of resistance training, walking, and moderate and vigorous PA weekly compared to the LPA group.
