A prospective first-year student is someone who has not attended any institution of higher education following high school.
If you've attended a college or university after graduating from high school, you’re considered a transfer student.
A cross-campus transfer student has completed college coursework on the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor campus but is not currently enrolled in the School of Kinesiology. Students are not eligible to cross-campus transfer until their sophomore year.
If you were previously enrolled in Kinesiology but have not registered for more than one calendar year, you must apply for readmission to the university.
Undergraduates are eligible for three types of financial aid: scholarships and grants, loans, and work-study employment.
